Travelling to and within Vancouver

Air

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is located 12km from downtown Vancouver in Richmond, British Colombia. YVR is consistently rated as one of the best airports in North America.

Car

Many major car rental companies have desks at YVR. Driving between downtown and the airport is straightforward and well-signposted.

Taxi

Taxis can be found on Level 2 of the airport. They are licensed and use a zoned fare rate that will depend on your destination.

TransLink

Take the TransLink Canada Line and alight at the Waterfront Station. The Vancouver Convention Centre is an 11-minute walk from the Waterfront Station.
SkyTrain

Shuttle

You can request a hotel shuttle bus with the direct dial phones located on departures level 3 of both the International and Domestic Terminals.

Lyft, Uber or KABU

Lyft, Uber, and KABU are authorized providers of Ride App services at YVR. There are three pickup areas: International and Domestic Arrivals, Level 2, and South Terminal. Just download the app and meet your driver within the permitted unloading areas on the curb on level 3.
